Hello everyone! This is our trip to Cambodia. Enjoy! ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguCmpqikNRqOSkkXgoZu1CtERmDnNM_5meL7JQwVc86EzTJ4N6Z5OfCXK2ARW4-dZN5FrkiR2Mq1yj6N9AE5GoSXuRjzNx5CEYFvOiYnBcONrgOkqNU72LIcZuU7tBHMKuUyBsHlOr-I-p/s400/P7010177.JPG)
After 26hours of flight from Vienna to Frankfurt to Abu Dhabi to Bangkok to Phnom Penh, we finally arrived to our final destination: Cambodia. Luckily we got our visa though none of the officers knew how to speak English.
Cambodian AIESECers were waiting outside. They took us to our hotel. It was our first ride in a Tuktuk.
These are two of them.
This is the view from our hotel. Nothing to be shocked about, right? :)
Our second day we went to the Russian Market. We were ''the first costumers'' at almost every stand and they made always ''a good price for us, because we were their friends''... at almost every stand!
On this Market you could find everything beginning from exotic fruits like lychees..
..or these ones..
.. up to super stinky naked dead chicken.
These delicious snacks we thought we'd try later.
Instead we still keep on with what we know: at KFC which is the only western Fast Food restaurant you can find in Phnom Penh.
Our company was very nice by the way. They are from China, Taiwan and Indonesia. (Though we're a lot more now)
We continued our trip to the Royal Palace Silver Pagody. Since Juli was too naked for the temple, she was forced to wear a jacket. No problem with a temperature about 35degrees and 90% humidity! (It was horrible)
A view of the palace through the eyes of a princess.
Some little Buddhist monks.
Would you like to have some Lotus flowers?
Ata trying to get closer to the monks.
The monks trying to get closer to the tourists.
On the way we found Juli's twin sister.
We recognized they were really shy.
It was a nice first day.
Day 2: The next night Juli obviously couldn't sleep well.
But she got up when we arrived at the National Museum of Phnom Penh.
There was a lot to explore.
We also found Ata's twin brothers!
In front of the Wat Phnom, the highest Hill of the City, we made some new friends. It was very easy to learn their language: ''Yum yum?''
On the way back we stopped at a supermarket. Would you like to have some chicken feet?
Being white is a big issue here. Pity that it doesn't protect us from getting overcharged by taxi drivers or sellers.
At the end of the day there wasn't much of Ata's energy left.
To be continued...
