Day 8: Today we started our day by trying to protect us from air pollution and any kind of virus... (it took us half an hour to take them off!)

We saw living fish just passing by!

Our first stop was at the 'Genocide Museum' of Phnom Penh. About 3000 people were killed here during the Pol Pot regime.

This place used to be a primary school...

...it became the last destination for so many innocent people.

Ata wasn't so happy about visiting this place. He refused to continue walking around.

Day 9: On the next day we continued our trip to the 'Tamao Zoo' outside the city.

We noticed that 'Zoo' in Cambodia actually meant letting people get to know animals as close as possible.

Monkeys might have scared us in the beginning...

...but soon we understood: they are just like us!

(Maybe not this one)

As we continued our trip to the killing fields we had nice company! :)

Killing fields...

... another place where lots of innocent people died...

...

Day 14: Our next weekend started better than ever. We went to Sihanoukville, a little town at the south coast of Cambodia.

These sweet little bungalows got to be our homes for one weekend.

The beach was incredibly.. tropical..

where we could find a lot of tropical food like this smoked.. something :)

Day 16: Our second day started with the best location you could ever find in the whole town.

Our plan was to visit some islands near to Sihanoukville. These were the boats which took us there.

This was one of the islands we visited.

Juli waited for Jack Sparrow... but he didn't show up.. :(
Thank you guys for this weekend! :)
